The 4th annual EFN Conference takes place in parallel with the
English Folk Expo (EFEx) and the Manchester Folk Festival)
from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 October 2023.
REGISTRATION FOR MEMBERS IS OPEN HERE
The registration fee of €60 covers daytime conference catering
and some other basic EFN costs.
The conference is open to everyone involved in the field of traditional arts and those who are not members of EFN can of course also register for the EFN Conference HERE.

The Conference venues will be Halle St Michael's
and the Stoller Hall - both in central Manchester.

The Conference programme (download it HERE) includes opportunities
to hear about the situation for traditional arts in Ukraine
from musician and festival promoter Anastasiya Vortyuk,
about traditional arts surviving in crisis with the
Armagh Rhymers from Northern Ireland,
about cultural tourism (who does it benefit?),
about Members’ own areas of work in special interest groups
(such as artists, storytellers, national organisations and others)
– and more opportunities to discuss EFN’s future plans
including the European Folk Day project.
